Skye - day 6- Sligachan to Am Mam

weather indecision - rain clearing from 10, excellent visibility - no chance - desolate Sligachan crossroads - trudge uphill through a foggy corridor - loose, flat pebbles and running water beneath our boots - ginger grass - "shame about the weather" - on top, the view is erased by mist and rain - returning, the back's turn to get wet - more camping warnings: "three people in the last week have been found dead up on The Tooth" - cosy Caledonian Cafe - two burgers, two apple juices, sat in our two black fleeces

Not very inspired by your your images...considering the amount of free press you had pushing the blog in the photographic magazines...

To the Anonymous person above that has not been inspired by this adventure, I wonder how many times this person has had anything published in the press or magazines or got off their butt and done somthing simler, I suspect none unlike Tracy and Dan, so if you can't say anything constructive don't bother writing anything.
I only wish that I had had the determination in my younger years to do what they have done and I say well done to them both and keep posting..

Dan and Tracy, I have been taking photographs for the last 50 years and I am always inspired by your pictures. The composition, colours and subjects of your landscapes are superb and I really enjoy the quirky and humorous subjects as well. Perhaps anonymous would like to reveal themselves with some of their own work?

Brilliant! Thanks to the first poster for giving me the best laugh I've had all weekend! Just wondering what 'Anonymous' thinks Tracy and Dan are getting from all the 'free press'. I see no advertisers or sponsors here - just others, like me, who are thoroughly enjoying their adventure. Keep up the good work Tarce and Dan! xx

It's always a chuckle when someone decides to leave a negative post but not their name. It's partly why I've disabled comments on my blog. Never mind - your adventure is inspiring and as someone who's also just been published for the first time I commend you both for doing something different and exciting that most people never would. Good luck with the project.
